Receive the Holy Spirit

It is good to re-member this important transition for the early followers of Christ.

They were changed from fearful, uncertain people to ones whose courage led them to speak with conviction the truth that had captured their hearts, minds and imaginations.

It is the Spirit whom we wish to continually appropriate in our lives. It is the fruit of the Spirit that we harvest by living in the Spirit, and nurturing and sharing the gifts of the Spirit.

On this day and always, we can make it a regular habit to "Breathe in the Spirit, the breath of God....."
