Acts 2: 1 - 11

Spirit, breath, wind....ruah......

God breathed life into the clay to make man. (Gen 2)

Dry bones rattle and come to life and they are covered with flesh as the Lord says, "I will put breath in you, and you will come to life" (Ezek 37)

The Holy Spirit comes upon Mary, chosen to bear the Son of God (Luke 1)

Jesus, full of the Spirit is led by the Spirit....and in the power of the Spirit began his ministry.

All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them (Acts 2).

Creation, life giving, brings the fullness of truth, reminds us of all Jesus has told us, brings wholeness, empowers supernaturally.......

......these are some of the manifestations of the Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, with whom we have a most important relationship.

Pentecost is an important date in the church calender that I have more recently come to appreciate.

My desire : to be stengthened with power through the Spirit, in my inner being......(Eph 3)
